After the decision on the buy of securities has been made, the Investor needs to issue to the Broker the buy order. The order may be sent:
- Via RAST web pages (from the Investor's portfolio or from the title page by choosing the particular security and clicking on “Purchase”)
- By e-mail (rast@rast.hr)
- By fax (+385 42 658 901)
- By mail (RAST d.o.o., Zagrebacka 61, 42000 Varazdin, Croatia)
- By telephone (+385 42 658 910)
- or in person
The order must contain all pertinent information (name and last mane / company of the Investor, code of the security, quantity, highest price or labelled as “Market” (price) and all other possible conditions of purchase).
Issuing the order to the Broker shall mean that the Investor is familiar with and accepts the General conditions for offering services of RAST d.o.o. brokering company.
The order shall be understood to be accepted by the Broker when he receives it and enters it into the ledger of orders (i.e. order register), bearing the condition that the order contains all the elements necessary for trading (information on the security, quantity, price and any possible special trade conditions) and that the money necessary for the purchase of securities and covering all the transaction expenses is paid in full.
As a general rule, RAST handles the purchase of securities upon the Investor's order in its own name and the Investor's account.
Along with the issuing of the buy order, and before the actualization of the buy transaction, The Investor shall be obligated to pay-in to RAST's investment account (2500009-1301137378) the amount necessary for the purchase of securities plus transaction expenses (Broker's provision).
Investors – users of the My portfolio™ service do not need to pay in the funds for purchase of securities if they should already have the necessary amount on their cash portfolio account. If the said amount is not sufficient, investors need to pay in the difference.
When one of RAST brokers completes the buy of securities, he undertakes all necessary operations to enter the Investor as the owner of said securities (in the CDA depository).
Any Investor – user of the My portfolio™ service may, through RAST web pages, monitor through his or her portfolio the steps of realization and the status of the order in question (processed, partly processed, retracted, changed), and the entry of purchased securities into his or her portfolio.
The Investor then receives, from the CDA and at the Investor's home address, the notice of the change of position on the Investor's account (including the purchase of securities). In case the Investor should not yet have an opened account with the CDA, the notice will, along with aforementioned items, also contain the number of Investor's newly opened account with the CDA and his or her PIN number.
The Investor also receives the report of performed transactions from RAST to the his address (or seat address), or through the web pages, i.e. the My portfolio™ service. If the amount which the Investor paid in to the Broker is less than the amount for purchase of securities tgether with and transaction expenses, the difference must be additionally paid in to the Broker. If this does not happen, the Broker shall leave the overpaid difference on the cash account of the Investor's portfolio or shall send it to his or her bank account (acording to Investors instruction).
For orders issued by Investors - legal entities, the above described process is analogue to that of Investors - individuals.
